Pathology

My doctor called today with pathology results from my surgery. Having had a biopsy earlier this year, I wasn't really concerned about cancer. The results were interesting though...

I had a benign growth, which was the cause of my recent problems. Treatment for this condition is through hormonal medications, which might provide some relief... but eventually hysterectomy ends up the course of action.

Having been on hormonal medication weeks before the surgery, I know that wasn't a long-term answer for me. Knowing what I now know, I am very glad that I went through with the surgery.

Another thing to be SOOOO thankful for. There is no telling what further problems could have come if you didn't take the action you did. And a good reminder that even when things don't work out "our way", they always work out the right way. God is pretty cool, huh?

I am so glad and thankful things are better!!

  2. Thanks! You are so right about how things work out the "right" way... I see God's hand in all this and I hear him loud and clear, to TRUST him!
