My parents came up to be with hubby and I for my surgery... which was wonderful to have them here! There's just something about having your mom around when you aren't feeling well. This was their first visit since our move... not real exciting, but they did get to see our property and a fresh snow (we got 3 inches while they were here!)
Their trip home was going well until they neared Toledo, where they were involved in a car accident. Luckily, they are fine... the car had minor damage. The driver that caused the accident worked for a trucking company... they put my parents up in a hotel for the night and got the car fixed and had my parents back on their way the next day.
So again, I am reminded of the grace of God, and that he is always looking out for us. I have much to be grateful for!
