Blood Pressure

The dictionary definition of blood pressure:

–noun Physiology.
the pressure of the blood against the inner walls of the blood vessels, varying in different parts of the body during different phases of contraction of the heart and under different conditions of health, exertion, etc. Abbreviation: BP

Mine was up again today. I feel like crap... partly because I have a sinus headache that won't go away... you know, one of those lingering all day headaches that makes even your teeth hurt. I think it's the weather... and allergies. But, even with the headache (which is fairly normal for me) I still felt a bit "off". So I stopped by the nurses office to get my BP checked... it's high. Go figure.

Am I under some stress the nurse asks? No, not really was my answer... then again, these high blood pressure readings over the last 9 months are stressing me out! I don't want to "give in" on taking BP meds yet... but if the readings don't come down that's exactly where I'm headed. There's some history of high blood pressure in my family so I might not be able to fight the "heredity" thing. Thanks family!

Try to take as many relaxing walks with your fur-baby as possible. Good exercise and will definitely help you relax :o)
