Hubby and I get lots of deliveries from UPS and FedEx... that's all well and good, but some of their drivers can't seem to keep from cutting our driveway short when leaving. We got tired of the ruts, so we put a decent sized rock at the end of the drive... and it worked... until two weeks ago when the UPS driver hit the rock and moved it about into the road, also knocking down a driveway marker. I was so annoyed when I saw it that I contacted UPS right away... manager talked to the driver and the driver said he didn't hit anything. REALLY?! So the manager came over to our place to take a look... no denying it... he said he could see exactly what the driver did. We put the rock back in its place and he said he'd be out to rake up the dirt and mulch for us the next day.
True to his word, when we got home the next night, the area was cleaned up. Nice!
Couple days later FedEx did the same darn thing, then it snowed. Got the rock moved back in place and we'll see what the area looks like after the thaw!
Both companies blamed "seasonal drivers". Ugh! I've asked that they no longer come up the driveway with their trucks... they can park it in the road and walk up our driveway. Darn Michgan drivers! lol
All pics were taken with the rock back in place... but the rock was pushed to the end of the mulch pile near the road!
