The leaves have fallen, the sky is gray and the air is crisp. As we prepare for the winter season and the end of another year, I contemplate my life and things I have to be grateful for. Seems only appropriate during the month of Thanksgiving.
"What if you woke up today with only the things you thanked God for yesterday?"
I'm thankful for lots of things... my husband, my family, my friends, my dog, to be gainfully employed, to be healthy, to have freedom of speech, religion, etc. My life would be meaningless without all of these things. I feel very blessed in my life, and I try to remember to thank God regularly for all he's given me. Which got me thinking... do I add blessings to others' lives? I mean... that's really what life is all about right? Not what we have, but what we give.
That's what I'm trying to be more mindful of... to be helpful, be thoughtful, be caring, be compassionate. Be the reason someone smiles today.

Proud of you Bonnie.
