I feel like I'm living a rat race... seems there's always something to do and someplace to be... where's ALL the time go?!
Spring has sort of sprung here in the great North! Hubby and I are gearing up for outdoor projects on the house. We've got our "to do" list and we've looked it over more than once trying to determine what our priorities are for this year. They change as we go... lol!
So far, Hubby has started building the bathroom and a snowmobile changing room in the barn. He's made pretty good progress, but he's still got a lot to do to finish the project. And that is "key"... FINISH! Start a project, and don't stop until it's complete... neither of us are too keen on leaving a project undone before starting another one!
We've also already had some remodeling done in the laundry room! Both of us kinda chuckle about remodeling the new house already! We tried to fit too much stuff in the laundry room, so we had one piece of equipment removed, a wall patched and repainted. Now the room is a little more user friendly for what's in there!
Probably the two biggest projects this year are getting the driveway paved and the lawn in... I can't tell you how sick of sand I'm getting! Life is a sand trap around here! (Dad... that one was for you!) Paving and lawn have to wait until May, but that's just around the corner!
When I mentioned I was meeting a contractor at the house recently to a friend, she said, "I thought you were done with the house?!" I laughed and said, yeah, the building process is done... but it'll probably be five years before it's really DONE! Anyone who's built a house knows what I mean!

ReplyDeleteOh, and I really like your new plant, very cute!
ReplyDeletelooks Great - I like the idea about the Changing room in the barn - that will be so nice and then you don't have it all tracked into the house. Good Idea! Sounds like you have been busy. Take care! JC
