Our first stop was to Grand Traverse Lighthouse in Northport, where the kids did a scavenger hunt and both won a prize! We packed a picnic lunch and ate at the lighthouse park... we were entertained by a little chipmunk who kept trying to get our food!
After lunch we headed over to Fishtown and did some shopping. Sleeping Bear dunes was our next stop - we hiked the dune climb (except Aunt Bonnie who had a bad sore throat!) Then we found a nearby beach and looked for Petoskey stones... Aunt Bonnie found 4!! We ended the day by having dinner at Arts Tavern... they sure have good tater tots!!
