Happy To See Me

Roo went to the vet today to have her teeth cleaned, her ears plucked, her nails clipped, some blood work done, and get a couple shots.  She's never very excited about going to the vet... even though I told her to think of today's visit as going to a "doggie spa".  I think she'd just as soon bit me for that comment; except she was too busy being nervous and shaking!

When I picked her up at the end of the day, the vet tech carried her in to the exam room and handed her to me... I've never seen her so excited to see me!  The vet tech said she doesn't think Rilee loves me at all... I said, "really?  is it that obvious?!"  I was being licked incessantly while she tried to wrap her front legs around my neck!

Here's a pic of the "love" Rilee showed me upon picking her up.  I think she was screaming, "GET ME OUTTA HERE!"  I also think the "doggie manicure" needs some work!  File the nails down next time!!
