1924 - 2010
My grandma passed away August 27th... she was the only grandma I ever truly knew and felt so blessed to have one as wonderful as her in my life for 40 years!
I'll miss her smile and the sparkle in her eyes.
I'll miss her spaghetti, creamed corn, and the smell of her famous apple pies.
I'll miss the Easter eggs with our names written on them.
I'll miss stories of her younger years, and stories about my dad and uncles as kids.
I'll miss her laugh when she found something to be extremely funny.
I'll miss all that and more... but I'll carry her in my heart and mind,
and someday I'll see her again... in Heaven.

ReplyDeleteThis tribute to grandma really touched Dad and I. Yes, she was a wonderful grandma, one of a kind. We will see her again up yonder in a little while, until then we have great memories to cherish.
