I LOVE it up here... Up North in the woods, but I need to remember I'm not in Central Ohio anymore!
Since we've lived here I've seen bugs I've NEVER seen in my life, snakes - even in my house!, salamanders, tons of wild turkey, porcupine, and zebras - ha!... just making sure you're paying attention! Maybe one day I'll even see a black bear or a cougar... they have been spotted up here!
I also need to be more mindful about the plants... went into the backyard with flip flops on (which is more woods than yard)... not a good choice! I ended up with poison ivy all over my ankles... and "wow!" I forgot how much that stuff itches!!

ReplyDeleteUh oh, you might be more inclined to get poison ivy when you are exposed to it. Remember how your Dad would get it so bad at times? You are probably going to be like him. I can't even remember when I have had it. Tristen gets it almost every year too. Hope it is getting better by now.
