Some Sun & Fun
Hubby and I decided to get out of town on July 5th, the opening day of the National Cherry Festival in Traverse City, in hopes of avoiding the crowds and traffic. We visited Cheboygan, a city on Lake Huron just south of Mackinaw City. We'd never been to Cheboygan before... turns out Cheboygan is home port to US Coast Guard Cutter, Mackinaw. Cheboygan also has a lighthouse and a brewery... so of course both Hubby and I enjoyed our visit!
