It's a new year and apparently a new me! Not sure what possessed me, but when my friend, Jane Zlojutro, asked me to do the Bigfoot 5K Snowshoe Race with her on January 19th, I said, "ok... why not!"
Wait a minute... what?!?!!? I don't do things like 5K's... what did I just agree to? Well, I registered and paid the fees for the race, so no going back now!
I am happy to report I did it, I actually did my very first 5K!!! I did the entire race in my snowshoes and I finished! I wasn't the last one across the finish line either!
It was a butt kicker though... still, I did it!!!

Yay you! That is awesome. Something tells me that is harder than running (or in my case, sloooowwww jogging - LOL!) a 5K. So proud of you!
