Hubby and I decided to celebrate our 13th wedding anniversary by going horseback riding! It's another one of those "things" on my list I wanted to do. Found a ranch here in town, and the weather was beautiful... so we went! It was amazing! My horse was black and named Latte... appropriate, I thought! Hubby's horse was white and named Wyland... he was also fat and lazy (at least that's what the guide told us... the HORSE, not hubby... lol!!)
We got an hour ride, which is long enough for a first time. I hurt in places I've never hurt before! The ride was beautiful and the horses just put me in awe! So powerful, yet so gentle. We got to go uphill, downhill, all through the woods and through a river... it was an experience I will NEVER forget!
Hubby's horse kept trying to knock him off by taking him through the trees, his horse also stopped in the deep part of the river and drank... leaving the rest of the group waiting for him... it was comical!
