I've been thinking about my approaching birthday... gonna be the big 4-0 this year... should do something "unique". I've got this list in my head of things I want to do before I say good-bye to this world. It's not a list that I talk about much, and some people would be shocked with some of the items on this list.
Most people would not consider me adventurous (at least I don't think they would) but I do have some adventurous plans...
Some of my friends would NEVER imagine that I've been skydiving... but I have... Hubby and I both wanted to try skydiving; and we did in the summer of 1997, just before our wedding in October of that same year. It was an AMAZING experience!
So back to "my list" and my approaching birthday... I've always wanted to go for a hot air balloon ride, and if I get my way that's what I'll be doing to celebrate my 40th! Found a company that offers rides here over the bay at sunset, upon landing there's a celebration champagne toast... I can't think of a more exciting way to celebrate a birthday!
And just so no one questions my skydiving experience... the pictures to prove it...

Yeah! I still can't believe you did that!!!! I don't even think I could, I'd be too scared! Hot air balloon ride sounds awesome! What a great idea!
ReplyDeleteI highly recommend the Balloon Ride - a great way to celebrate your big day! It is extremely peacful. If you can - get a leaf from a tree top to commemorate the moment :) JC
